The torte will make a nice Easter dessert. Actually, any of them would except for the banana cream pie since it needs to be posted before Easter.

Woo hoo! I’m super excited about all these picks (yes, mine included, LOL!). April is my birthday month and these are all awesome choices to celebrate with!
Hmmmm. Gotta figure out if I can make the Chocolate Amaretti Torte kosher for Passover somehow. Hmmmm.
Yay..these all sound great. I have to say I am super excited about the chocolate bread pudding. I have really been wanting to make that!
When I first read that it’d be a fattening month I though, “That’s nothing new.” But now…I fear for my waistline. And those of my co-workers. And I’m going to make ALL OF THEM.
did i read chocolate chocolate and MORE chocolate!!! i’m so thrilled..
Oh boy! Yum!
I’ll be making smaller portions of most of these, most likely. Banana cream pie-lets, anyone? Individual bread puddings? Chocolate tartlets?
And I might make my own Amaretti — a good way to use up those extra egg whites. Does anyone have a weight for the amount of “standard” size Amaretti that Dorie calls for in the Chocolate Amaretti Torte? Mine might not be the standard size, after all — but going by weight should work.
I wanted to thank you for letting me become an official member from St. Patty’s day. I wanted to check to see who I needed to send my website information to. I had a great time making this weeks cookies. Can’t wait for next week.
I’ll be out of town the first two weeks of April and the last week of April, so may not be posting the weekly recipes, but gosh, they all look fabulous. Sorry I’ll be missing them.
Thanks,
Lynne
