  1. Dear Campaign Manager CB:

I respect your candidate’s platform…it’s really innovative and exciting…but, sorry, I gotta stick by my girl Cocoa-Buttermilk Birthday Cake. She’s got a proven track record and I know she can get the job done.

    All best,
    miss kate

  2. Not totally aware of those who nominated so I can’t give that person credit…. however, kinda thinking the Tarte Tartin is a great “french” choice.

Okay, …. now I went back and read the comments and can see the voting pull that is out there. Still I remain! My vote is for the Tarte Tartin. I am a chocolate goodness lover, BTW

  3. I have to say, I don’t think it’s fair that the brownies are allowed to post on this forum.

Just because they’ve learned how to type and the other desserts haven’t doesn’t mean that they should have free range over the voting process. Someone should reign those rascally brownies in before they start their own blog and trash-talk the other recipes.

    No brownie swift boats!

    I vote for Tarte Tatin!

  4. Because I need to be sure that CB and her white “chocolate” (yuck white chocolate does not deserve the same last name as dark chocolate) brownies LOSE….

Add one more to the Cocoa BUttermilk Bday Cake list L

      • I’m not afraid of your silly lawsuits. All I need to do is let the judge sample some aweful horrible disgusting white chocolate and some amazing delicious decadent wonderful mouth wateringly perfect dark chocolate and he’ll have no choice but to agree with me.

        Bring.It.

  5. Ok I can be a bigger person and admit defeat.

    To White Chocolate Brownie Voters:
We gave it a good fight. But I’m throwing in the towel and switching my vote to the Cocoa Buttermilk Birthday Cake. I hope if we, white chocolate brownie lovers, unite together the birthday cake will come out on top. If I have to lose I’d rather it be to a cake instead of a tatin. At least I can make that into a cupcake ;)

  6. this is hard, these were the 3 i voted for! um… i vote for the tarte tatin. simply because it’s a special dessert and i have lots of puff pastry in the freezer left from september’s daring bakers challenge :D

  7. I hate to be a noodge, but do we have a winner? And maybe a hint of the January recipes. I’ve committed to bringing dessert to several holiday gatherings, and would love to incorporate some TWD picks if possible. Thanks so much!!!!

  8. Why bother to spend loads of time and effort trying to learn new dishes when you could take advantage of this detailed, illustration rich and simple cookbook to create meals that will wow your friends and family over? Don’t reinvent the wheel, make proper use of it!
