I’m so excited by all the picks but the chocolate ganache ice cream is to die for!
i have tart dough in the fridge and peaches on the table. custardy tart anyone?
I’m with you, Katya. I was just about to find something to use up the peaches here in my kitchen. The tart looks like a great idea.
It was worth the wait! Even after 2.5 years of weekly recipes, there are still wonderful, wonderful choices! Excited about this month’s lineup.
yessss!! every pick a great one, and i was going to make that peach tart this month anyway, so this is perfect. not to mention the oatmeal bread is the number one thing left that i’ve wanted to make, and the espresso shortbread is divine!
I just made the oatmeal breakfast bread and got RAVE reviews from everyone who tried it.
I used yogurt instead of milk/buttermilk and used diced dried apricots too.
it was absolutely excellent.
I made it into muffins this morning and put sliced fresh figs on top. Very delish!
I’ve seen very good reviews on various blogs about the oatmeal bread and the expresso shortbread…can’t wait!
Perfect time for the peach tart as well…yum!
Can’t wait to try the carrot cookies :-)
I have been in my storage locker 3 times already to look for my ice cream maker and no luck! Grrr. All the recipes sound great this month.
Mary, have you tried the David Lebovitz method of making ice cream without a machine? http://www.davidlebovitz.com/archives/2007/07/making_ice_crea_1.html
yay! i’m so pleased that people are happy with the peach tart–i really wanted to pick something seasonal and was excited this was still left!
