Baking this one tonight. I’m excited to see how it turns out. How about yours?
My pick! I hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did.
This loaf made the best toast EVER! Cannot wait to bake it again.
Rewind! Four delicious recipes–http://peggydempsey.blogspot.com/2011/06/rewind-la-palette-strawberry-tarte.html
apricots instead of dates!
Here’s my link!
A little dry for my taste, but it did introduce me to dates, and so it can’t be all bad.
I thought it was wonderful!! But then I do love dates. Let’s face it, I love food.
Really enjoyed it!
With apricots – no dates!
I love dates! http://jillbert.wordpress.com/2011/06/21/tuesdays-with-dorie-date-nut-loaf/
Plan to make it again with dried pears and/or dried apricots.
DATES! (and what to do with your leftover dates)
Chocolate Chips & Almonds!
Loved this! I used pecans instead of walnuts.
Can’t wait to see July recipes! Wahoo!
I am bad, bad, bad (no, really, I was just out of town) and didn’t make this week’s choice, but I did leave a killer chocolate chip cookie post for you anyway.
I love dates!
We adored it!
Still a week behind, hoping this weeks the one I catch up (if it would just cool, off, right?) ;)
This is yummy!
Mine turned out perfectly and perfectly delicious!!
Can’t wait to toast some up tomorrow…
Loved the flavors but found the loaf a little dry for my taste. So we had the Date Nut Loaf spread with cream cheese for breakfast – but the real winner was turning the rest into a bread pudding!
Better late than never!
I couldn’t wait one night or one day to slice this! Yum!
Yum! I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this!
One of my favorites.
