Baking with Julia
This one is for Mike. ;-)
What is one food that you absolutely, completely, totally, and utterly cannot stand? Answer in haiku, please!
*** Edited to add – you guys are such good sports! These ROCK!
Don’t tell me it’s good toasted
Won’t pass through my lips
If you had asked me a week ago, the answer would be “none.”
Since you’re asking me now, the answer is “anchovies.”
Eyes burn, stomach knots,
Just a whiff from the farm stand:
Yikes! It’s cilantro!
Delicate pink curls
With too many little legs -
Shrimp make me shudder.
Be it black or red
Good & Plenty or Twizzler
Licorice is gross
Mushy, gelatinous green little cabbage
bitter till the end is the sad
Jules stole my idea
Coconut is never good
Banned from my household
pretty lacy green
appearance masks vile flavor
of herbaceous dill
mushrooms ewe so dirty
look like elf houses
but edible on burgers
To prepare-fast or purge
Makes no difference to me-as for dinner
Escargot is not to be.
Not worth even a haiku: CHOCOLATE.
:( You really hate it THAT bad? Have you tried any lately? ;)
One word is all it takes, eh? ;-)
Why does this not surprise me? LOL!!
KAYE!! Really?? Who KNEW!! HAHAHAHA
Onions make me cry
more than just from chopping
They are icky!
Never in a sandwich with jelly
not even a Reese’s Cup
I passionately hate peanut butter
:( Wow, the things we learn about each other. PB is one of my staples in life. ;)
Green glowing devil
Burning my tongue and mouth out
Wasabi is gross
fatty, fatty fat
pork belly: stay off my plate
hold the bacon, please
the fragrant canteloupe is
but the taste, phew, phew
pretty green circles
hiding horrible flavor
icky brussle sprouts
