Baking with Julia
This was a perfect week for this recipe. How did yours turn out?
Um, yeah for ice cream! Sorbet? Up at 1:00 am CST
This stuff was really surprising and really really good! Post will be up at 12:01am EDT, although it’s probably in your Readers now. I was fighting with the scheduled posting feature of my blog, and it kept winning.
I agree – this was surprising given the lack of cream. A pleasant surprise:
De-licious! I like that it never got rock hard in the freezer!
Easy to handle and great in taste! Made some apricot icecream as “sidedish”.
melty, but delicious! thanks for churning with me this week!
Surprisingly rich and creamy.
Rich and creamy with a great dark chocolate flavor
Rich, smooth, and mellow….not your dream date….the sorbet.
Oh, this stuff was SUPER SWEET.
I’m with Steph, melty but good taste!
I’m in love!
So creamy! http://jillbert.wordpress.com/2011/07/26/tuesdays-wdorie-creamy-dark-chocolate-sorbet/
Mine didn’t good smooth; it doesn’t seem like my chocolate melted all the way. Did anyone else have that problem? It’s still great though.
Mine was grainy too Bridget. I am thinking either the chocolate didn’t melt fully, or I churned it too long. Either way, still good.
I almost didn’t make this, but it was so good!
I’ve been so looking forward to this one!
Loved it over here. :)
Yes, PERFECT for this heat!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the chocolatey goodness – and I didn’t even have an ice cream maker to churn this. Love this recipe! Thanks Steph!
Delicious – but super rich! Great in very small quantities or topped with toasted coconut to cut through some of the bitterness and ganache-like consistency.
Yum! Easy and fabulous. And I even got to use my new sorbet cups! =)
Yum! This was a great pick. Thanks!
Loved, loved, loved it. Not sharing. Not with anyone.
This is one of my favorite recipes we’ve ever made! Amazing!
did anyone NOT have super melty sorbet? if so, please leave a comment on my blog and let me know!!!!
Forgot to leave my link. I loved this one!
For my friend Chris who was in hospice care.
