I am really excited to make the Far Breton. I think this is going to be one of those recipes that is amazing, but overlooked because of the lack of picture and obscure name. I love the dried fruit that will go into it.
Excited for two-a-days!
I just made it with pecans, chocolate chips and brown sugar. It tastes like pecan pie but with custard where there should be treacle. My tastebuds are confused. I can’t wait to hear about everyone else’s.
Hindy! That sounds amazing! I will probably be making mine tonight! Thanks for the teaser.
I just made my batter and popped it in the fridge, I’m planning on baking this evening. I’m excited to see how this one turns out! Using Chai tea to soak the fruit in, yum.
I had no idea what to expect and it’s good. I had trouble telling if was done and baked it for 55 minutes, which seemed to be fine (I made a half recipe in a six-inch pan).
