  1. It was love at first bite! The squash, the pears, and that butterliscious crust make this pie perfect for fall.

    I couldn’t find any pre-cut butternut squash, but a medium-size whole one was more than enough for this recipe. I also added 1/2 teaspoon of almond extract, because I’m slightly obsessed with almonds. It was fabulous!

    This would be perfect for Thanksgiving dinner.
