We’ve hit our first hundred bloggers for our new book! We cover 31 states (C’mon DE, FL, HI, IA, KS, MI, MO, MS, MT, NE, NH, NM, ND, OH, OR, SD, UT, WV, WY where are you?), 11 countries, 6 (SIX!) continents (I don’t think that’s going to change unless we get a blogger from Antarctica) and myriad ages and blog experiences. So excited!

FYI — I signed up way back on day one, and am baking from TWO states, IL and MI. I move back and forth, so about half from MI and half from IL.

Hello from the Uk (near Liverpool) can’t wait to get going baking along with everyone. :-)
Another statistic for you… I was flipping through the book last night and out of curiosity I tallied up the amounts of flour and butter required from cover to cover. Once we are done with all the recipes, we will have used roughly 75 pounds of flour and (brace yourself) 40 pounds of butter.
40 pounds. Of Butter. I’m going to go strap myself to the treadmill now… ;)
Holy moly!! That’s a lot of butter!!! And with 100 bakers already signed up, that would make 4000 pounds of butter!!!
Man…the dairy industry must love us…
We should ask for a group discount! :D
I thought about doing a tally from BFMYTY on butter, flour, sugar, and chocolate and then thought better of it. ;-)

Just found you. I have the book and hadn’t yet baked from it – just love looking at it and using it as a reference. I’m signing up and very much looking forward to joining the group.
PS – I’m in Washington DC. You don’t get to cross a state off your list when you add me (because DC isn’t a state – we’re in a jurisdiction where the federal gov’t taxes without representation), but you do get to add the District of Columbia.

I just joined yesterday from PA. I’ve had the book for a few years but only made one or two recipes. I can’t wait to get started!
