Baking with Julia
We have just over 300 blogs represented! There are ten bakers named Jennifer. Four of our bakers are men. California is the most represented state with 53 bakers. Our first recipe posts next week!
Four? Only four? (4/300)*100 = a measly 1.33% !
Love your blog. Your day job must be food styling?
Mike- Consider the number of men have doubled since the last group. Its a much better way to think about it. AND one of them is from FARGO! ;)
Ya shure don cha kno
I’m here! I feel like an endangered species, haha!
Wow, 300 blogs? That’ll give me something to read on Tuesdays :)
I can’t wait to see all of you together next Tuesday! And Mike, I, too, wish there were more guys, but I’m glad there’s you.
It’ll be so much fun looking at all the blogs out there!!! Can’t wait to see everybody’s result!
Yay…I am one of the Jennifers!! I am SO excited!! Going to the grocery store later to buy my ingredients!! :)
Half the men have left a comment here
can anyone tell me, for the white loaves do we need a loaf pan with a lid? I’m awaiting my copy of the book and want to get my supplies together as soon as possible :)
Regular loaf pans work just fine
Happy happy! I can’t wait to be baking along again. :)
does anyone know where I can get the 4 1/2 in fluted tart pans for the second recipe?? I have only found 4 in ones or 4 1/4 in ones!! Thanks.
Don’t worry about it too much, Jennifer. Either of the 4″ or 4 1/4″ inch will be fine.
Jennifer- I only have a standard 8 inch tart pan, so I am going to make a large tart, but I would think the 4 1/4 would work okay. Just do not overfill them and you should be fine.
I have tiny two inch tart pans so I’m making a lot of micro-tarts.
I don’t own minis, so I’ll be making one big one
So excited for the first recipe! Getting my supplies this week:)
Jules- I love your nerd updates. :) They make me happy.
yippe! see everyone soon!
Woo hoo go California :)
Any other bakers in upstate NY?
Man #3 here, c’mon guys! Where are all of you? Looking forward to baking with you all.
I’m happy to be one of the Jennifers. :)
