Since this week is for missed recipes, I figured I’d combine the two into one post. I thought there would be slightly fewer posts. What did you try and how did it turn out?

I made the rugalach! Rugalach are family traditions for me so I wanted to give this one a try! Yum! Check it out at http://www.oneclevermom.blogspot.com.
You cannot imagine how delighted I was to be able to catch up the white loaves recipe. Not only was its making “a piece of cake…sorry bread” but also tasted DELICIOUS! A winner!!!
Even if you know it by heart by now, thanks for stopping by <3

A catch-up from BWJ and BFMHTY.
I made a recipe from BFMHTY: Peanut Butter and Oatmeal Chocolate Chipsters:

I made the shortbread tart with jam filling. What a hit! At first I was dubious of the grating method, but it turned out to work like a charm. http://motherwouldknow.com/journal/shortbread-tart-with-jam-filling.html

I made the Pizza Rustica weeks ago, but then the baby was born, so never got to post about it. I’m so grateful for the make-up day (and for the baby nap that allowed me to write this).

I went back to “Baking” and made the Quick Berry Tarte (and the Coconut Apple Family Cake): http://cookierookie-alvarosa.blogspot.com/2012/05/twd-missed-recipe-make-up-quick-berry.html
Used up some stuff in the freezer, made lemon curd cookies, and they turned out pretty awesome!

Oh no! I didn’t know we were getting a make up day :( I would have made Rugelach, really regret missing that one- my book was still in the mail. In any case, I’m looking forward to making naan on Sunday or Monday! What other recipes are people making to go with the naan? I’m thinking either this recipe: http://www.food.com/recipe/aloo-gobi-84324 or this one: http://www.melskitchencafe.com/2012/01/coconut-shrimp-curry-silpat-giveaway.html
I caught up on the White Bread (but not the blogging part).
And I got ahead by making and blogging the Persian Naan: http://gaaarp.wordpress.com/2012/05/27/persian-naan-bwj/
Catch up!
