So, this wasn’t a quick bread. I know that had a few people confused. Was it worth the overnight wait? Do tell!

We did enjoy the product and now that we have endured the process we will not be so meek next time. We used dried cranberries. Yum. Next time might try a few more walnuts, since they were so nice. Yes, we will be baking this again!
We really enjoyed it but…I will be posting a quick pumpkin bread with chocolate chips in the very near future!
I loved this bread. I actually really like yeast breads that require an overnight rise, because the messiest part is over with and you can just plan on having the loaf fresh baked for company! We will definitely be making this many times over the holiday season. I’m already planning on giving some loaves away as Christmas gifts!
I made this bread last year for Thanksgiving, and it was delicious. I wasn’t able to find fresh cranberries in the shops yet, so I’m saving the recipe for the third Tuesday – can’t wait to make it again!
I couldn’t find fresh cranberries either, so I used dried. The loaves are in the pans now for the last rise – can’t wait to bake them off!
I had some fresh cranberries in my freezer, so I pulled them out and am so glad I did. Several others have said they didn’t care for the fresh cranberries, but I just loved them! The bread would not have been nearly as good without them. And I couldn’t wait for the overnight rise, I was just too excited to taste the results. So my bread only hung out in the fridge for two hours. I think it came out just right!
The fresh cranberries didn’t appear in my grocery store until the day I was planning to make this bread. I really liked this bread, especially the tart bite of the cranberries. I just don’t think it would be the same with dried cranberries (although I did have a bag on standby, just in case).
i sat this one out because i kind of wanted to see the reviews first. i think i’ll probably do it for the end of month rewind.
I make bread rather often, so the overnight wait wasn’t unusual for me. I think it was definitely worth it!
I had such a great time with this bread. Nothing was as it should be i.e. bread pans, cranberries, time. And yet – the finished bread is lovely. I will make it again and I plan to gift it at the holidays, it is so pretty. Blessings!
Because I can I like to visit every blogger that leaves a link. I joined this group to make new friends–not just recipes. I read their post and leave a comment specific to their post.
I’m put off by the ‘prove your not a robot’. Sometimes it takes me 3 tries to get it right. Often your comment them is not posted until it has ‘owner approval’. I have neither of these in place. It does not post anonymous so the junk stuff never makes it to my blog comments.
Why do bloggers have this–please enlighten me because it’s annoying,
I have to approve every new comment (as in if you’ve never commented before, I have to approve it) I don’t get a whole lot of spam, but I do get some, and this helps keep the spam down…I think
I’ve had issues in the past when trying to leave comments on a Blogger site with my WordPress ID. They don’t always “speak” well together, so I get that part can be annoying. As a blogger however, I do get a lot of spam and would rather have the option to filter what gets posted on my site, a place that I put a lot of time and effort into creating and maintaining. It honestly is not meant to put anyone off.
We made this bread last week, but not in time to post on the 2nd. We’ll be posting it on the 30th of the month. We used dried blueberries in place of the raisins, frozen cranberries, and butternut squash. It’s quite delicious and will go over well tomorrow, which is Thanksgiving Monday in Canada.
I loved this bread despite the involved rising times. I can’t seem to get my posts up on time anymore :( Better late than never!
