Making these for your BBQ snacks? Any questions or advice?
I click on Savory Wheat Crackers and all I get is an advertisement. How do I use your site??
Does anybody know if these would keep well? I want to make them ahead of time for my daughter’s party.
I don’t have the book in front of me, but according to the Denver Post, they will last up to one month sealed in a plastic bag or tin. :)
They make a great and healthy snack my kids love them.
if anyone’s made these yet….do you think I could do the rolling in my pasta machine? not sure of dough consistency, but I’ve rolled other crackers that way in the past.
This is what I am doing this very same moment and it works like magic :) The baking time is way more that 3min though. I just took out the first batch after 10 min and they are not on the crispy side…
I think I over-sprayed the first batch and this is why it took so long to bake them. Around 7 min is baking time for the rest.
I rolled mine to the “3″ setting and it worked out well as long as I was judicious with the flour. I probably could have made them thinner, but I wasn’t sure how thin was thin enough…
thanks! I made these tonight.. took them to the second thinnest setting on my pasta machine. mine baked in 6-7 mins, too. I only did half a recipe, but it made a ton of crackers!!
