TWD History

January 29, 2008

I received Baking: From My Home to Yours by Dorie Greenspan as a Christmas gift in 2007. I made a New Year’s resolution to try to bake one recipe a week from this brilliant book. But, I knew I would have trouble without someone to nudge me along. You see, I am not so great with follow through. So, I asked on my first TWD post if anyone would like to join me.

What I did not know, is that in 6 months, we would jump from me to 200. I have had such a blast baking every week with this group. Choice of recipes is rotated in order of membership. Baking can be done anytime during the week, but we ALL post ON Tuesday. I have made some wicked good friends through TWD, and I seriously cannot imagine my weeks without it.

TWD is kept in tip top shape with the help of Nikki, Clara and Shari. Thanks for all you do ladies. I am truly appreciative.

    Dorie,
How can I tell you about something you might find fascinating?

Chocolate that has been embedded with Love and Good Intentions by Tibetan Monks.

Esquire Magazine’s Chef of the Year Uses Chocolate with Invisible Ingredient

“Food is energy and we can be more nourished by it if it is prepared with love and intention. This is one of the reasons I use Intentional Chocolate, because there is good intent infused into the making of it. I believe intention is this ingredient that makes it beautiful to work with and really delicious.” -

Can I send you some to try yourself?
