TWD History

I received Baking: From My Home to Yours by Dorie Greenspan as a Christmas gift in 2006. I made a New Year’s resolution to try to bake one recipe a week from this brilliant book. But, I knew I would have trouble without someone to nudge me along. You see, I am not so great with follow through. So, I asked on my first TWD post if anyone would like to join me. Michelle and April quickly jumped on board. YES! Just what I needed, people to keep me focused.

What I did not know, is that in 3 months, we would jump from 3 to 103. I have had such a blast baking every week with this group. Choice of recipes is rotated in order of membership. Baking can be done anytime during the week, but we ALL post ON Tuesday. Sharing our trials and tribs, as we bake our way through Baking, is the most fun.

If you are interested in joining our club, our only prerequisite is that you own Baking: From My Home to Yours by Dorie Greenspan. We would also ask that you participate at least twice a month.

You can email me at tuesdayswithdorie AT gmail DOT com and say “Hey, I want to jump on the bandwagon!’

We would be glad to have you!

TWD is kept in tip top shape with the help of Chelle, Nikki, Leigh and Clara. Thanks for all you do ladies. I am truly appreciative.
