So, you joined Tuesdays with Dorie and now you want to put our cute little banner/avatar up on your blog but you have no idea how to do it. Well, you came to the right place because we have directions for wordpress and blogger. I don’t know how to do it with any other blog hosts so you’re on your own

We’ll start with the instructions then get to the images and the code that goes with them (code for each image is under the image).

WordPress Instructions

Choose the code under the image you want to put in your blog.

Go to your dashboard and click on design

Select Widgets

Add a Text Widget

Paste the code in the text Widget and move your text widget to the order you want it to appear on your sidebar

Save and you’re done

Blogger Instructions

Blogger can be a little trickier because sometimes it likes to add extra quotes. If it adds extra quotes, just monkey around with the quotes around the end of the url until you can convince blogger that you’re doing the right thing.

Go to the layout section

Click add a page element on the top of the right column

Then find the element called “HTML/Javascript” and add it to your blog

Put the code in, save and you’re done
