TWD will be celebrating its 1st Anniversary at the beginning of January. With this, I am going to clean house a bit. So, I am gently asking those who are falling behind, or no longer want to participate to leave me a comment here, or email me at tuesdayswithdorie AT gmail.com. No hard feelings of course. I just know there are people out there that signed up and may have had a change of heart. No worries, I understand!! TWD is a serious commitment. I myself have been having a hard time meeting the requirements. While we have been lax about things in December, its back to business come January.

By now everyone that signed up via the Elfster link to participate in the TWD card exchange should have been emailed their “match”.

Just wanted to clear up a little confusion.

I’ve gotten a couple emails about some matches not having their address in their profile so if you want to get a card, you need to put that information in your profile. I know some TWD members mentioned that they signed up with their address but it didn’t show up on the profile so please check your profile again to make sure. If your match doesn’t have their address on their profile, you can ask them via an anonymous question to update their profile with their address.

Also another suggestion was to put your blog somewhere in your profile. Maybe in the “address 2″ line? That way your match can get to know you via your blog as well.

Feel free to ask your match or any other participant fun questions too. I already got some cheeky ones myself. ::glaring @ Nikki::

After November 29th, all signups will be done and Elfster will match everyone up November 30th. You should receive an email with the person’s profile that you will be sending a holiday card to. Feel free to ask them (or any other TWD baker) anonymous questions. Just another fun way to get to know each other.

Ho Ho Ho TWD bakers,

I don’t know about you but one of the reasons I love the holiday season is sending and receiving holiday cards. So… anyone interested in signing up for a TWD Holiday Card Exchange? International TWDers welcome too! Sending a card from USA to France is only $0.94! I’d say we can afford that right?

If you would like to participate please leave me a comment with your first name, email address and blog URL. This will give me a chance to validate that you are a current TWD member.

The deadline to leave a comment is November 21st by 12mid EST..

I will email everyone who leaves a comment the Elfster Signup Link. Please click the link to signup and update your Elfster profile by November 29th. You will be assigned your match via an email from Elfster November 30th.

Elfster provides you with a way to ask your match questions to get to know each other. From personal Elfster experience, asking anonymous questions can be alot of fun b/c you don’t have to ask just your match questions so if you ever wanted to ask someone anything, now’s your chance to do it anonymously! Let’s try to keep it G rated mkay? HAHA

There is a space on your profile where you can add your mailing address. I’ve set it up so that only your match can see your mailing address.

If you sign up, please keep your commitment to send a holiday card by December 25th. You aren’t limited to just a card. Feel free to send an ornament, food products, etc etc but the minimum is a card. I reserve the right to boycott your blog and publicly shame you if you do not fulfill your commitment. It’s only fair.
