I saw the beautiful interpretation of Black and White Cake that Peabody made so I had to give it a whirl. You can see my end result, http://danielledeskins.blogspot.com/2008/04/wess-special-birthday-cake.html, I was so proud! Thanks, Dorie, for a great recipe.

Hi everyone! This is such a nice idea. I just bought a copy of the cookbook and do plan to try out some recipes! But, a) I don’t want to commit to baking from this book that often and b) I don’t have a blog.
Are there any options for being a “lurker” or “guest?”
And, is there any quick way to view old entries? I’d love to look at some of the completed stuff, but using the Search doesn’t seem to work for all of them. And I have no idea how to search on the all the blogs listed under “TWD Bakers” — is it even possible?
Happy baking to all of you!
