I will make it as soon as my 6 cup bundt pan arrives. I want to make smaller cakes.
But, I joined TWD after World Peace Cookies had been chosen. They had such rave reviews I had to make them.
So this week it is all about World Peace!

I not only made the Mocha-Walnut Marbled Bundt cake (and I am only saying it once!) but I also managed to make the Coconut Tea Cake! Loved them both but think the coconut one if my favorite. :) http://bakingbysue.blogspot.com/
like ta see it? here it go: http://ornamentalconfectionery.blogspot.com/2010/04/twd-mocha-walnut-marbled-cake.html
I not only made the Mocha-Walnut Marbled Bundt cake (and I am only saying it once!) but I also managed to bake the Coconut Tea cake from last week. I think I like the coconut cake better, but they were both delicious!! http://bakingbysue.blogspot.com/2010/04/twd-mocha-walnut-marbled-bundt-cake.html
Made mini-muffins instead of bundt:
http://pinkstripes.wordpress.com/2010/04/06/twd-mini-walnut-mocha-marbled-muffins/
Delicious in cupcake shape too! Used pecans instead of walnuts and cocoa instead of coffee

Loved this!!
I played around with the recipe this week. I replaced the coffee with cocoa and subbed ground almonds for the walnuts. This recipe wasn’t a hit for me but that’s my fault entirely.

Cute, CB! I made a full sized bundt, and it was “beast”!:

Loved the use of real chocolate in this one and skipped the coffee for cocoa – was a great Easter dessert.

Here’s mine! http://www.heathersbytes.com/twd-mocha-walnut-marbled-bundt-cake/
In case it happens to anyone else, I didn’t pay enough attention to the butter and chocolate on the stove and they ended up separating. However, once the batter was mixed in it pulled them right back together again and worked out perfect.
I did the coconut tea cake. Not sure if I should post that here or on the other page. Will do both! http://wp.me/sNcKR-543
I’m out of sequence again, because I thought the Coconut Tea Cake deserved a spot at Easter dinner. It was wonderful!

Okay…. Well…. Honestly….Very disappointing from our end. We are not “Mocha Lovers”, so we left out the coffee but added extra chocolate flavor. We still found it to be very tasteless and disappointing… even after we frosted it with a white chocolate cream frosting. So we think we will scratch this one of the list! Sorry Dorie Fans….
Yummy! http://jillbert.wordpress.com/2010/04/06/tuesdays-with-dorie-mocha-walnut-marbled-bundt-cake/
I know, better late, than never. Plus, this was a perfect midnight snack last night!

I agree with Amelia – better late than never, right?

I served this with a Guinness reduction. Oh, so good. It was as good as I am late in getting this posted!
http://www.tablefare.com/blog/2010/04/12/mocha-walnut-bundt-cake-guinness-reduction/
I made this cake last Sunday. And we all loved it (that is: me, my neighbor, my colleagues). The walnuts go very well with the chocolate!
Next time I will try to reduce the amount of sugar and increase the amount of instant coffee and use a very dark chocolate, and thus increase the contrast between white and dark batter.
I precisely wished to appreciate you all over again. I’m not certain the things I would’ve followed in the absence of the actual advice revealed by you about that theme. It was a very frustrating crisis in my position, but discovering this skilled form you handled that made me to jump for gladness. I am happy for this advice and trust you really know what a great job you happen to be accomplishing instructing many people with the aid of a web site. Probably you’ve never met any of us.
Today, I went to the beach front with my kids. I found a sea shell and
gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed.
There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her
ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely
off topic but I had to tell someone!
