making these tomorrow for a blondie lovin friend. can’t wait!
I couldn’t wait either! They just came out of the oven. They seem wonderful.
Oops. I meant they “SMELL” wonderful.
Thanks to Nancy’s tips, I left out the peanuts (none in the apt) and upped the salt to one heaping teaspoon. These were devoured and greatly appreciated as a mid-lab pick-me-up :)
These were delicious!! I was expecting them to be O.K., but they were like Reese’s cups in blondie form! I ended up using half Jif and half natural peanut butter even though Dorie says not to use natural because I feel like natural pb has a much more peanutty flavor.
My husband is going to like this one!! :)
Im baking these today! It’s a perfect fall day to bake up some blondies!
These are spectacular! I took to the dark side and added a ganache topping.
Ooh, Valerie, that sounds yummy!
Oh that sounds good!
nice touch! I can imagine how fantastic that must’ve been.
There all ready gone and I baked them yesterday. They are delicious!
My second pan this week just came out of the oven. Someone hold me back – these are addictive!
OMG – just out of the oven and I am in heaven. Husband may have to put these under lock and key or I will eat them all!
I’m making these tomorrow! Can’t wait!!!!!!
Pretty darn good. I am wishing I’d made them in a 9×13 instead of a 9×9. They’re very thick and a little too hefty for my taste…I’d rather have a slimmer bar. Flavor is great, though.
they really are pretty thick n hefty. but i think they are perfect!
I added white chocolate chips, omitted the roasted nuts and as per Nancy and Caitlin’s suggestion upped the salt to 1 tsp. The extra salt adds that salt-sweet contrast without being too much. It’s a nice afterthought in the flavor.
Way too good.
Mine just came out of the oven and wow, what wonderful smells! Takes the sting out of the mid-30’s temperature outside.
gotta buy some peanut butter..
I heart blondies
I CAN”T wait for these babies!!
