Run.  Now.  Run to the nearest newsstand, grocery store, or any place where you can get the May issue of O magazine.  Because on page 136 you will find an article about TWD and FFWD featuring our fearless leader and founder, Laurie, Dorie, and some other bakers and cooks you may recognize.  SO COOL!

  1. It is so wonderful to see Laurie and members of fabulous TWD in The Oprah Magazine — recognition that is soooooooooo soooooooooo well deserved. If you go to the Oprah magazine website, you’ll also see recipes — Joel Brown’s cupcakes, adapted from the French Yogurt Cake are there, and also a bonbon made from the Chocolate-Banded Ice Cream Cake. It’s all very exciting.

  2. Just discovered your blog in the online O magazine. How exciting for you and all your followers. I am definitely going to check in often–it sounds like you have a lot of fun here. I, myself, have enjoyed writing about baking. I co-wrote “Stud Muffins: Luscious, Delectable, Yummy (and Good Muffin Recipes, Too!). Filled with pictures of hunky guys next to delicious muffin recipes, this is NOT your grandmother’s cookbook!
