  1. Just made these this afternoon and enjoyed them with my sweet mom. :)

    I started out with fingers then moved to a pastry blender to move along quicker. I added in the 1/2 cup of prunes and loved them. These were nice, delicate and perfectly sweet.

    Great pick.

  2. That is one of the STICKIEST doughs I have ever worked with! I couldn’t even get the circles separated into scones pre-baking, so I just scored them into pieces and cut them right when they came out of the oven.

    Sticky dough, but *very* delicious.

  3. fingers. i do the thing where i grate the butter, so i don’t have to work too hard to incorporate it. beth’s right…it is a sticky dough…i totally had the glop hand when i was finished mixing.
