Super! Now, if someone would, please- share how to post this on the blog pages ( I’m using WordPress)., that would be timely and oh so! helpful. Beginning blogger, here….
I’m trying to figure out the same thing. I think it’s easier posting things on the side using Blogspot, but WordPress, I just can’t figure out. Thank goodness for naptime. I’ll have a few minutes to work on it!
Totally agree with you- my FFWD blog is on Blogspot & it is so much easier to work with! WordPress is driving me crazy! I screw something up 25 x before I finally get it & then sometimes just have to say forget it! Drag & drop is non- existent on WP as far as I can deduct. Good luck!
Very cute! Thanks for all your hard work.

Not showing up on my end either.
Here’s what I did:
1. Save the image to your desktop or other folder on your hard drive. This will involve a right-click (for Windows folks) or a CTRL-click if you’re on a Mac.
2. Decide where you want the image to go on your blog.
a) If it’s going on the template: Open your blog template and add the logo to a widget or whatever mechanism you use to add badges, etc.
b) If it’s going on a TWD post: Open the post editor and add the logo as if you were adding a photograph.
Hope this helps!
I thought I’d only learn about baking when joining this group, but your CTRL-click on a Mac has literally made my week.
That will not work because instead of the image badge on this site what I see is a square with an X. I am adept at saving images with right clicking per your instruction above. That is exactly how I save images. However, the image that would be saved is a square with an x in it. I think the probelm is with the wordpress system and how this has been posted as a badge.
I was able to ultimately figure out the badges’ properties and save and post this in a very indirect way. However, I agree with Dust with Flour that typically that is how one would save the badge. For those having trouble you could come to my site and copy the badge and then upload as an image as an ulternative if you are having problems. Or you could gop to anyone else’s site who has posted the badge and copy and save. At least that is a reasonable work around to the problem.
Thanks so much!!
Ive posted them as photos. I am not sure why you are seeing an X and not the image. What browser are you using?
Internet Explorer 8
Send me an email and I can attach them in a reply to you. I am using firefox and have had no issues viewing images.
Hey all! If you’re using WordPress you can add it as a “text” widget using HTML. Here is the code I used for my TWD badge:
You’ll need to save the image to your WordPress media file first, and then open that image to get the “img src” URL.
Then you can link it back to here, or what I did was link it to my BWJ category that has a list of all of my posts for the project. For that you put the URL you want to the image to direct folks to in the first part of the HTML.
You can also just have the image without the link, in which case your HTML would look like this:
Let me know if you still have problems and I can see if I can help!
Ok, well it looks like the commenting system won’t allow me to post HTML – so what I would suggest is visiting this website for a basic tutorial: http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_images.asp
Thanks for the help. I couldn’t figure out how to link it, but I went to your blog, right clicked on the badge, and hit “inspect element.” I then copied and pasted your url into the widget text box. I hope you don’t mind! It doesn’t link back to your blog, since I couldn’t figure out the links anyway! I also added the title “Tuesdays with Dorie”.
No worries!
Thank you for taking time to design and post. I look forward to adding to my website!
how do I post this on the blog pages on blogspot?
Not showing on my end either! Thanks
For WordPress users….click on whichever image you want to use, it will bring up another webpage with only the image in it, copy that URL, go to your WordPress blog. From your dashboard go to appearances, then widgets, add the “Text” to whichever Widget area you want it in, drag and drop the “Text” box, and it will open up, place the copied URL into the “Image URL” spot and hit save. Go check your blog…should be there, worked like a charm for me!

Correction…use the “Image” widget, not the “Text” widget!!
Help! I don’t know if anyone will even hear me after all this time, but I can’t figure out how to add this to the side of my blogspot layout. All it has is “add a gadget” and when I try to “add by URL” (after clicking on the one I want, copying and pasting the link) it tells me the gadget appears to be broken. Is there another way to do it? I’m new at this and have already spent hours on the blogspot help site looking for info to no avail. I’m sure it’s so easy that they think you shouldn’t need directions to do it.
you add a picture in the gadgets. i did it by dragging the image to my desktop and uploading it, and then where it says add a link i put the TWD website so when somebody clicks on the picture it will bring them back to it.
Do you have new gadgets to grab? The url appears as `brokenĀ“
