I am super stoked about this month. I have vowed to make one pie per week for the entire summer. This is to remedy the fact that I am an absolutely horrible pie maker. When I say horrible, I mean it. (This is Laurie, not Jules, I am sure Jules is a fab pie maker. I just know she is.) I was so excited that several pies/tarts were suggested for this month. However, we did not want to overload the month on sweets, so there is savory as well. Happiness for all!

Why three recipes this month? The rules say only 2.
Since we had a make-up week just this month, we opted to have a 3 recipe month. The next 3 Tuesday month in September will have a make-up week. If you can only make 2, thats more than fine. :)
