  1. I enjoyed this tart as is. I used blueberries and raspberries, and since my cake pan was shorter, I baked another cup of the yogurt filling in a separate ramekin with more berries. Some lemon zest in the yogurt filling would have been a nice addition!

    • I used blueberries and added some lemon zest. It added a nice accent. I think the key to this tart is good fruit. It really lets the flavor of the berries shine.

  2. Reading the recipe, I knew I should have gone with my gut instinct and added lemon zest or Frangelico, or something. But I thought with all the fruit on top it would be delicious. This was easy to prepare and turned out beautiful, but bland – as a lot of the recipes from this book are. Grrr.

  3. I’m baking right now! Both June recipes in fact. I’m hoping for a delicious dinner—-Tomato Galette and fresh Peach Yogurt Tart!

  4. I didn’t find it bland, as it tasted very “vanilla-y” to me (in a good way). But I also didn’t expect very strong flavor, given the ingredients. The yogurt was more of a plain base with the crust and fruit providing the flavor and texture. I used “artisan” local yogurt – I wonder if the more flavorful yogurt gave the finished tart more flavor (?).
