Mine turned out great and I would say yes better than store bought. I would make these again.
Definitely will be making these again! This round, I used cherries, golden raisins, apricots, and orange zest. Next round, I will sub out the butter for coconut oil as suggest by Alisa of Will Garden for Cake. Thanks, Alisa.
Turned out good. I am wondering if anyone else has troubles seeing this new blog format on their android phone? I get the white box that should have comments in it but only a small segment, then the box ends (before it really ends online) and I see more and more of the cranberry pie. So the actual information won’t show up, that is in the white boxes. Anyone else have this trouble?
I have an Iphone and I’m having troble leaving comments on other bakers blogs, in fact I can’t leave comments at all but somehow i can leave one here.
So easy. This will be my go-to recipe.
I made these again, using the brown rice syrup (first round I used Lyle’s Golden Syrup) and subbing the butter with coconut oil. They turned out drier, firmer, and less sweet. Personally, I prefer the first batch.
