I am trying it today!!
I thought it was great! Made it with a combo of blue and raspberries (in both sauce and fresh berry topping). It cut much more cleanly after chilling for a few hours…sauce firms up a bit and absorbs a little, so it runs less when cut.
I’ve made the cake layers and they are in the fridge. They collapsed quite a bit once they emerged from the oven. I’m hoping that’s okay….
mine definitely shrunk as they cooled…and each cake had sort of a sunken divot that I filled with the sauce
Mine shrunk as well – the layers are fragile, so handle with care. This was rather good – I was surprised at how much we enjoyed this one.

We were really happy with this one! I didn’t bother to strain out the seeds… I kind of like them!
Me neither Kara. Plus, my frozen raspberries evidently weren’t in light syrup.. I ended up with a “spread” of sorts. My post will be late, and I’m definitely looking forward to everyone else’s!
