Loved it. I found the crust to be to dark after going in the oven 3 times any advice?
Mine was a bit dark, but not burned or unpleasant. I’ve been doing the first partial bake at a lower temp than she recommends in the book…using 375F instead of the 400F (which would always seem to burn the edges of the shell right off the bat).
Thank you Steph you give the best advice. I now always use a whole egg for the crust. I also bake the crust at 375 since I do not like it over baked and will try to bake at 350 next time.
I put foil around the edges of my crust on the second baking and that seemed to help.
I will do that next time. Thank you Diane
I loved this one. We did substitute peaches for the out of season cherries.
I so wanted to do this one before cherries disappeared for the year and it was so worth it. Loved this one!
Yum a new family favorite.
Outstanding.
Delish!
