    • Mine was a bit dark, but not burned or unpleasant. I’ve been doing the first partial bake at a lower temp than she recommends in the book…using 375F instead of the 400F (which would always seem to burn the edges of the shell right off the bat).

      • Thank you Steph you give the best advice. I now always use a whole egg for the crust. I also bake the crust at 375 since I do not like it over baked and will try to bake at 350 next time.
