BCM P & Q: Apple Kuchen

Apple recipes are perfect for the fall! And for those like me who celebrate Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, it’s almost a requirement.

  1. I made this on Saturday, quite delicious, but I baked it for a little over two hours
    and still could not get a knife to come out clean when tested. I decided to remove
    it from the oven and let it set up while cooling. When it was cooled and sliced it was very messy, but we enjoyed every tasty bite. I was wondering if anyone else had
    this problem.

    • Mine was in the oven for about 90 minutes and probably could have gone longer. Consistency was custardy when it was cooled and set. And yes, definitely messy. You’re not alone!
