Anyone figure out what we can substitute for the matcha?…or where to get it?
My first recommendation is that if you have an Asian/ Korean/ Chinese/ Japanese market nearby, they tend to stock the most brands (and in smaller sizes and at a more reasonable price). Many health stores will carry it in the tea aisle. Amazon, of course.
I’ve also seen stores like “Big Lots” or “Ocean State Job Lot” carry it.
Thanks for the tip Cher. I forgot about my local Mitsuwa Marketplace store. They had several brands and prices of Matcha green tea. I found a box of tea bags $3.99 which was a bargain compared to the other containers.
