DC: October Recipes and P&Q

Here’s what we have coming up in October:

White Chocolate and Poppy Seed Cookies, p 185

We bake from Dorie’s Cookies on the first and third Tuesdays of the month. There’s an extra Tuesday in October, so the 29th will be a Rewind.

  1. i made the parm galettes today. rather than slicing a chilled dough log, which i find kind of annoying. i divided up the soft dough and pressed it into my greased muffin tin (flattened down each one gently with then bottom a little juice glass). then i just stuck the tin in the freezer for an hour before i baked the galettes off.
