  1. i have ouzo, so i think i’m using that. i have seen lots of other recipes that only call for white wine and no liqueur, so i’d probably just replace the pastis with extra wine. although honestly limoncello sounds good, too!

  2. oh, i just saw the above! for whole eggs or yolks, i often set up bowl over a water bath and make a sabayon. for whites i’d say buy pasteurized eggs or whites, but i’ve never tried this DIY method diane found and am very interested to know if you have success with it!
