What a terrific December line-up!! Happy Holiday baking everyone!
Ha, I’ve had tart dough in my freezer since August, and I finally made up a reason to use it up 2 days ago.
Yes! Yes! Yes!!!
I have been eyeing that pear tart for a really long time. So glad it got picked!
Is this sad? I was in the shower this morning, wondering when the new recipes would go up. Great choices!!
YAY!!! Looks like a whole lot of fun. Guess what kids? Its the Holiday Season. Happy Holidays everyone!!! May your days be merry and bright!

As one of the folks who got to choose a recipe, I’m glad the reactions are so postive! And to the rest of this month’s recipe choosers, great job — I think we all came up with a nice variety of holiday recipes.
Are we going to be able to post the recipes out of order like we did for the month of November? That would sure help with Christmas and holiday parties.
I thought about doing that again and decided against it. The recipes are in a good order for the month I think. You can post anytime you want the weeks of Dec 22 and 28 though.
Fab. choices! I’m looking forward to making every single one of them.
yay for two cookie recipes- great for Christmas gifts!! oh and I am so making the pear pie for Thanksgiving- I never know what to bring bc pecan, apple, and cranberry are always provided by my aunts and grandmother- this will be a very different addition! yay!
I love that one week’s recipe calls for two egg yolks and the next needs two egg whites. You guys are so tricky!
Really? That’s so funny! I don’t think any of us noticed that!!!
As usual, I am freaking out with excitement! Can’t wait to try all of these!
I’ve had my eye on that pear tart forever! And my husband will be delighted that I am making more cookies!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Great choices! I want to get started now.
sables… such a favorite, as you can modify these so easily. Such great choices for the holiday season! Off topic but Dorie-related, have any of you made the Caramel Pumpkin Pie? I’ve been eyeing that for a Turkey-day-dessert!
I know this is off topic, but I wanted to wish everyone a very happy and, of course, delicious Thanksgiving. Hugs and kisses for the holiday — Dorie
I know it’s the holiday weekend, but will you be posting a P&Q for the Pear Tart?
