TWD: The Next Generation

As you can see, I am still trying out titles for our next adventure. Suggestions welcome. :)

I just wanted to take a second and follow-up on the post from last week. I did read all of your comments. This is what I heard, you want the same format, and a less stressful recipe schedule due to the complication of recipes.

I am going to admit, I was hoping to switch TWD over to the FFWD format, because it is so much easier to manage/maintain. However, I have heard you and we will continue TWD in the way it has always been run. With that said, I am going to ask for help. I would like to bring some more people on staff for the new club. My hope is that some of you old schoolers won’t mind pitching in. If we are going to manage a member list to pick hosts from, it’s a full time job, especially in the first couple months.

I’d also like to obtain a new logo when we start anew. If anyone would like to try their hand at making one, go for it!

If you would like to help out with TWD 2.0, let me know. Jules and I would appreciate any and all help we can get.

Any other suggestions, comments welcome.

  1. Katya- I havent blogged in so long Ive thought about scraping my current one and starting over. I do however have the baking/eating down, Im a pro. :)

    • I’m also thinking about a major re-design and platform shift, as well as a shift in content–bring in my other life as a librarian/writer/activist/etc… I think if all the threads of my online presence cohere it will not only tempt me to update more, but provide an excellent example of my major skill set. Let’s do it!

      • Yeah, my blog doesnt represent who I am anymore. Life has changed dramatically in the past 5 years. We will see if I have time to get a new TWD site together and a personal blog, though. Im not the best with follow through. ;)

  2. I would be happy to help with whatever you need.
(I love to draw, but I don’t know the first thing about graphic design…I’m sure I could design a new logo if I could hand it over to someone else once it’s finished.)

  3. I am absolutely available to help out in any way I can. I will hopefully have a new, much faster computer after Christmas so I’ll be ready to help with the best of them ;) Just tell me what you’d like me to help with and I’m there :)
