How about baking the bialys first. I think some of us would like to do the cheesecake for Valentine’s Day…
You can make the cheesecake whenever you’d like and just post it on the 18th.
:)
Thanks for switching the dates!! Two decedent desserts in two consecutive weeks was too much for me. :)
You’re welcome.
wouldn’t it be the 11th and the 25th? last one was this week
I agree – an additional week would be a good idea.
Me three…
So, what is the verdict? Can we assume the date is being changed, as there are no P&Q’s this week?
Don’t know. I mixed up the dough this morning, though. I’ll bake them after work. I’ve never made bialys before, so I’m excited to try them.
Guys- I really don’t care about the dates. I really don’t. Last month, we pushed the dates back. This month, I went back to the first and third weeks. If you prefer the 2nd and 4th weeks, that’s fine, too. Maybe there should be a post about this so everyone can weigh in though.
Maybe that is why it seems so quick this time…if we pushed back in January.
Thanks Laurie! You are awesome!! I would have been late with the bialys recipe. (Also wanted to make it closer to when my husband returned from his trip, so he could try them fresh.) I so don’t envy you having to put up with all the hassles of hosting the group. I’m sure it is not easy. Hats off to you!
P.S.
I would be willing to take on administrative duties (hopefully it is not too complicated) to get the FB page up and running again. I am in a cooking group that has a FB page in connection to their website. It has been most helpful, especially when you need a question answered in a timely fashion. I have read here recently that there is interest in a TWD FB page.
